Electronic bids are not required by the Union County School District, but offered as a means to submit a bid.

INTRODUCTION:
Pursuant to existing provisions of Sections 27-105-5, 27-105-315, 27-105-305, and 37-7-333, Mississippi Code Ann. (1972), it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the Union County School District to select one or more depositories to assist with the banking functions for funds of the District for a one (1) year period July 1, 2021 and ending not later than June 30, 2022 or a three (3) year period July 1, 2021 and ending not later than June 30, 2024.

PREPARATION OF BIDS:
(A) All information requested of the bidder shall be entered in the appropriate space on the bid form. Failure to do so may disqualify your offer. The blanks in the green highlighted section are for the financial institutions response to services, please enter a yes/no response. Print, sign, date, and return by using one of the options listed above in a clearly marked envelope “BID-BANK DEPOSITORY” by 10:00 AM on Friday, March 26, 2021. The bids will be opened by the administration, read aloud, and tabulated at 10:00 AM on March 26th. The board will consider the bids at the regularly scheduled board meeting on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 5:30 PM.

(B) All information shall be entered in ink or typewritten. Mistakes may be crossed out and corrections inserted before submission of your bid. Corrections are to be initialed in blue ink by the person(s) signing the bid.

© Corrections and/or modifications received after the closing time specified shall not be accepted.

(D) All bids shall be signed by an authorized officer or employee of the bidder.

(E) Bids must be submitted by the date and/or prior to the time specified to be considered. No late bids, faxed, or telephone bids will be accepted.

(F) Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “BID-BANK DEPOSITORY” .
